http://wswan.org
The WSWAN'2015 is the 2nd world symposium organized by the ISET University, Tunisia and N&N Global Technology, Tozeur, Tunisia. It tackles two important areas: Web Applications and Networking.

The Web has changed the way we share knowledge, the way we design distributed services and applications, the way we access large volumes of data, and the way we position ourselves with our peers. Successful exploitation of web-based concepts by web communities lies on the integration of traditional data management techniques and semantic information into web-based frameworks and systems. It is on Building and Exploring Web-based Environments, continues the inaugural conference on web-related theoretical and practical aspects, focusing on identifying challenges for building web-based useful services and applications, and for effectively extracting and integrating knowledge from the Web, enterprise data, and social media.

The symposium addresses both practical and theoretical research in the areas of ad hoc networks, sensor networks, mesh networks and vehicular networks. Its main focus is on all issues from link layer up to the application layer. We solicit both academic, research, and industrial contributions.

We welcome technical papers presenting research and practical results, position papers addressing the pros and cons of specific proposals, such as those being discussed in the standard fora or in industry consortia, survey papers addressing the key problems and solutions on any of the above topics short papers on work in progress, and panel proposals

June 22 - 25, 2015 , Hangzhou, China
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ACM MobiHoc is a premier conference with a highly selective single-track technical program dedicated to addressing the challenges emerging from wireless networking and computing.

We invite paper submissions on fundamental contributions to a broad variety of issues related to wireless and mobile networks. We encourage theoretical contributions as well as submissions related to implementation and experimentation that provide deeper understanding. The main focus is on contributions at and above the MAC layer. Papers dealing with physical layer issues are also welcome, provided that they address cross-layer networking issues.

The areas of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

  - Mobile, cellular, sensor, wireless mesh, vehicular, cognitive radio, ad hoc, social, opportunistic, and delay tolerant networks

  - Optimization and control for mobile crowdsourcing

  - Mobile computing systems

  - Applications, middleware, transport, network, and MAC protocols

  - Routing, scheduling, resource allocation, and energy efficiency

  - Localization and location privacy

  - Scaling laws and fundamental limits

  - Cross-layer optimization and control

  - Modeling and performance evaluation

  - Function computation and data aggregation

  - Network resilience, fault-tolerance, and reliability

Templates for the standard ACM format can be found at http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates.
Both strict and alternate styles are acceptable for submission. No changes to margins, spacing, or font sizes are allowed from those specified by the style files. Papers violating the formatting guidelines will be returned without review.

All submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind review process. The identity of authors and referees will not be revealed to each other. To ensure a blind review, the authors' names and affiliations should not appear in the paper or the pdf file; bibliographic references should be made in a way that preserves author anonymity; acknowledgments and support information should not be included. In case there is a need to refer to a technical report that includes, for example, proofs, an anonymous link should be provided.

Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings published by the ACM. Warning: It is ACM policy not to allow double submissions, where the same paper is submitted to more than one conference/journal concurrently. Any double submissions detected will be immediately rejected from all conferences/journals involved.

First IEEE Workshop on Pervasive Energy Services (PerEnergy) in conjunction with IEEE PerCom 2015

====================================================================
                     CALL  FOR  PAPERS
First IEEE Workshop on Pervasive Energy Services (PerEnergy)
in conjunction with IEEE PerCom 2015

Extended submission deadline: December 7, 2014

March 23, 2015, St. Louis, Missouri, USA
              http://perenergy2015.cs.uni-bonn.de/

====================================================================

Scope of the Workshop
---------------------

A wealth of unexplored knowledge exists in the power data collected
from smart meters and smart plugs (i.e., metering equipment for
individual wall outlets). Analysis of the data may be used to provide context-based services (e.g., presence detection), but also serve as the foundation for novel services (e.g. automated recommendations for energy savings). To date, the potential of this domain has barely been explored, although more and more energy data is becoming available due to the increasing number of deployed smart metering equipment. At the moment, one of the most important research challenges in smart energy systems is thus the creation of value-added services that exploit the information content in energy generation and consumption data in such a way that they can inspire new functionalities and context models.

The aim of this workshop is thus to bring together practitioners and
researchers from both academia and industry in order to have a forum
for discussion and technical presentations on the recent advances in
the numerous opportunities opened up by the use of energy data in
context-aware systems. It furthermore serves as a forum for the smart energy research community to discuss open issues, novel solutions and the future development of smart energy management systems in general.

Topics of Interest
------------------

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Novel architectures for the integration of smart meter/smart plugs
  into pervasive computing systems
- Seamless energy meter integration in the design and architecture
  of smart home/office spaces
- Applications relying on energy data including, for instance,
energy optimization and sustainable operation of smart
cities, household load disaggregation, generation and load
forecasting, and other means for informed load shifting
- Novel business models relying on energy data
- Collection, processing, and integration of energy data to improve
the control over loads and generation (e.g., distributed renewable
  sources)
- Security and privacy considerations in smart energy metering,
including novel means to mitigate privacy and security threats
- Experiences with experimental power metering system prototypes and
  pilots
- Power metering testbeds and data sets for the comparison of
household characteristics and processing approaches in a
  globalized world
- Industrial use cases showing gaps to be filled by future research

Submission Instructions
-----------------------

Authors are invited to submit regular (full) papers for presentation
at the workshop, describing original, previously unpublished work,
which is not currently under review by another workshop, conference,
or journal. Regular papers should present novel perspectives within
the general scope of the workshop.

Submissions of papers must be formatted according to the IEEE 8.5x11
conference format and must not exceed 6 pages. Papers in excess of page limits shall not be considered for review or publication.

Accepted papers will appear in the IEEE PerCom '15 Workshops
proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press. The authors
of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented
at the workshop. Each accepted paper requires a full PERCOM
registration to appear in the proceedings (no registration is
available for workshops only).

Submissions are handled through the EDAS system. It is a requirement
that all authors listed in the submitted paper are also listed in
EDAS. The author section of EDAS will be locked after the workshop
submission deadline to ensure that conflicts of interest can be
properly enforced during review. If the list of authors differs
between the paper and EDAS, the paper may not be reviewed.

Further submission instructions can be found on the workshop web page:
